In the event that a performance is cancelled for any reason, tickets will be eligible for a full refund. Please call our Box Office at 902-275-3933 to arrange for a refund, note the original method of payment must be used.
If you are unable to attend a Chester Playhouse show, we are happy to exchange your tickets for another show or issue a credit to your account for the original ticket price.
Notification for ticket exchanges and returns must take place by noon on the day of the performance. No exchanges or account credits will be issued for a performance that has already taken place.
The Chester Playhouse is committed to being accessible to all customers. We can accommodate patrons with mobility concerns and also welcome service animals to any part of the premises that is open to the public. Children At The Theatre
For family performances and those specifically for children, infants under the age of 1 year will be admitted to the auditorium free of charge, as long as Infants do not occupy a seat but will remain in their parent’s arms. For adult performances, all patrons, including infants over the age of 1 year, are to have their own ticket and seat. If you are unsure if a show is considered a family or adult performance, please call Box Office.
Not all performances are equally suitable for children. We will highlight any show which is not suitable for all ages. We encourage parents and caregivers to also inquire in advance.
Box Office Hours
On show days, the Box Office opens 2 hours prior to showtime. During show evenings, the Box Office is open until the end of the intermission.
Children are those 12 and under. Youth are those 18 and under. Seniors are those 65 and up. Students are those with a valid Student I.D.
